Dr. Maria Cosentino is a University of Toronto alumni, having completed her undergraduate and Master’s Degrees in science and biochemistry. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and graduated with honours in 1999. Dr. Cosentino has published many scientific journal articles and completed scientific research at the Hospital For Sick Children and Toronto Western Hospital.
Dr. Cosentino first began practicing dentistry in Orangeville from 1999 to 2005. While practicing in Orangeville, she was a member of the Highlands Rotary Club. Since 2005, Dr. Cosentino has been practicing in her current location in Etobicoke.
She is a member of many dental associations and has been named a Councillor of the Ontario Dental Association and President of the West Toronto Dental Society. Dr. Cosentino has also been awarded the Governance Leadership Award from the Ontario Dental Association. It is important for her to pursue continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest dental advances to serve her patients better.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Cosentino stays busy while spending time with her husband and two children.
Hannah has been practicing dental hygiene since 2005 and is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene. She believes in evidence-based practice, which includes client preferences, current best research and clinical expertise. Hannah empowers her patients with information about oral and general health that can impact their oral health. With this, clients can have the autonomy to make informed oral healthcare decisions. During an appointment, Hannah enjoys getting to know her patients and making a connection with them and aims to always make her clients feel comfortable and at ease. Outside of work, Hannah is an animal lover and she currently has two cats.
